I have always wanted to be a nurse since i can remember. There are many different reasons that have made my decision for my career. I am applying to two different programs to attened next year. I did not apply to osu's program. I applied to Medcentral which is in Mansfield Ohio and to a program to through Riverside and Grant where they will pay for my schoolinig as long as i find a job there prior for 3 months and agree to work for them after i graduate.
The classes i have taken so far this year have not been any nursing specific classes. They have just been classes towards my degree. The general classes that everyone is required.

I believe that Nursing is a wonderful field for you to be in. Getting to know you this quarter, you are a very strong individual who takes crap from no one, and I really like that about you. You stand up for yourself, and if something is bothering you, you let it be known. I absolutely love that because I'm used to being surrounded by "fake" people. I think you will do wonderful in Nursing WHEN you get into the programs. I agree that for the most part, taking general courses has been my college experience as well. I think it is really cool that you found a place to apply that will PAY for your schooling as well. It's hard to find those sorts of places and get it done. I wish you the best of luck and I hope that in the near future you get accepted into your program, keep telling it like it is, and ALWAYS have fun in Twinsburg, Oh because that is probably something unique that a lot of people miss out on!:) It was great to get to know you and again, good luck with everything!!!!:)
Well I think that you have come a long way since this entry. I feel like I judge every entry now and edit it myself. It's weird. I don't think I could ever be a nurse. I just would not be able to see any blood or people in pain. I would probably faint. I could maybe do only paperwork or something. Besides...scrubs are so uncomfortable. They itch sometimes and the stretch bands seem to cut off my fat haha. So thank God there are people like you out there who don't mind those things. Good entry, it's cool to see all the improvements...only one more blog entry and then you're done!!
